Free Trade with Latin America: Overview of the use of existing agreements

and update on ongoing and concluded negotiations

During this interactive Zoom webinar, they will discuss the development of bilateral economic relations between Switzerland and Latin America. We will receive a sneak preview of the Switzerland Latin America Report 2024, which is published by SECO each year in March. An overview of the use of the existing Free Trade Agreements with Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile will be accompanied by a presentation on the “FTA Monitor” developed by SECO. We will also look at the modernized FTA EFTA-Chile, what is new, and the significance of these changes for Swiss companies. There will also be a presentation on the status quo and latest development concerning the FTA EFTA-Mercosur: Where do we stand? What are the next steps? What is the importance for Swiss companies? Finally, we will introduce ExportHelp at Switzerland Global Enterprise, the contact point for Swiss SMEs, which deals with any administrative question regarding export.

After the presentation of each topic, we look forward to an immediate Q&A with our viewers.
