Dear Members, Partners and Friends,
our 46th Annual General Meeting took place on May 17, 2023 at one of Zurich’s traditional landmarks located on the river bank, the Zunfthaus zur Zimmerleuten. 50 guests in total spent an agreable and enriching moment together. Our 23 voting member approved the financial statements 2022 and re-elected those who were up for re-election. Towards the end of the official agenda, Dr. Philippe Nell, Honorary Ambassador of LATCAM, shared his expert view on the current situation in Latin America.
During our luncheon, we were honored to liste to the keynote address delivered by Dr. Thomas Moser, Alternate Member of the Governing Board, Swiss National Bank, who spoke a.o. about the challenges of a sudden inflation, decision-making on interest rates, the future of digital banking and crypto currencies.
Thomas Moser is an Alternate Member of the Governing Board of the Swiss National Bank. Before joining the Swiss National Bank, he was an Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington D.C., United States. Thomas Moser is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Lucerne and a member of the Managing Committee of the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance at the University of St. Gallen. He holds a Master’s and a Doctoral Degree in Economics from the University of Zurich, Switzerland.
