SEOS is the first and most awarded Colombian Fintech specialized in financing and supporting solar energy projects for households and SMEs.

Terra Preta is a Colombian startup specialized in removing CO2 and improving farmer margins through decentralized biochar production.

Ruslan Iskakov has an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering (University of Stuttgart) and over 8 years of experience in consulting and investment banking, including structuring and closing of USD 10+ bn in equity and debt transactions in the energy and infrastructure sector.

Thomas Käslin has an M.A. in Accounting & Finance  (University of St. Gallen) and over 3 years experience in carbon markets. He is a 2nd-time founder – he previously founded a sustainability consulting business for SMEs.

They will introduce their entrepreneurial journey and the exciting opportunities in Colombia, as well as their funding needs to continue growing.

After the presentations and Q&A, you are cordially invited to join us for a networking aperitif.

The LYC aims at bringing together Swiss-based professionals and students who have a strong connection to or interest in Latin America. The LYC events focus on topics such as those at the heart of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) that are particularly relevant to younger generations.
