LATCAM was delighted to invite its members, partners and friends to the first physical event in a long time, offered jointly with FIFA on the occasion of the visit to Switzerland by Mauricio Macri, Executive Chairman of the FIFA Foundation and Former President of Argentina. The moderator of the dialogue with Mr Macri was Dr. Philippe Nell, Honorary Ambassador of LATCAM (LINK to CV’s).
Mr Macri impressed our participants with great openness and clarity when he spoke about a variety of topics, such as
- Chairmanship of the FIFA Foundation
- Argentina, his book on the presidency, the future
- USA and China
- Mercosur, EU, Switzerland
FIFA was a perfect host, providing us with a stage that was framed by the 20 Latin American flags of our Chamber, a room that was set up in full COVID-conformity with goodie-bags for all participants, as well as food and drinks during the subsequent reception.
