The Swiss Chambers and LATCAM visit Roche, Novartis and the Chamber of Commerce of both Basle (Sept. 2022)
Following the Latin America Day, the representatives of the Swiss Chambers, Bruno Aloi and Adriano Bürgi from Switzerland Global Enterprise and Tatjana Gaspar from LATCAM, visited Roche and Novartis as well as the Chamber of Commerce of both Basle.
Both pharma giants, patrons of LATCAM, organized interesting presentations and exchanges with key management and scientists, which laid the groundwork to explore a potential deeper cooperation with the Swiss Chambers in the future.
The lunch exchange at the Chamber of Commerce of both Basle took place in the presence of Board members and CEO’s of two members companies.

Changes on the LATCAM Board (August 2022)
Markus Pölzl, representative of Bühler Group on the Board of LATCAM, has recently informed us that he wishes to retire from the Board with immediate effect. We wish Markus all the best for his professional and private future and thank him for his years of service and support on the LATCAM Board.
Dr. Richard Friedl, has also informed us that he wishes to retire from the Board with immediate effect and leave his place to younger Board members. Richard served for many years as the President of the LATCAM Board, steering the Chamber through turbulent times with dedication and passion. He was succeeded by Ramon Esteve in 2019, but stayed on as a Board member. We are very grateful to Richard for his many years of service and wish him well.
Manfred A. Ebling, Treasurer of LATCAM and representative of Zurich Insurance, has informed us that he no longer works for Zurich Insurance and has recently taken up a new professional challenge. We thank Manfred for his support as Treasurer over the past three years and his valuable contribution as Member of the Executive Committee. We wish him professional fulfillment and success in his new position.
Manfred’s successor on the Board of LATCAM is Andrea Covini, Group Mergers & Acquisitions, at Zurich Insurance. We warmly welcome Andrea Covini to the LATCAM Board and look forward to a productive future collaboration with her.
